There may be debate whether these songs fit in the category of rock, but they’re as rockin’ as I get. (A link for those songs that have YouTube music videos has been added.)
Song #1 “Cold, Cold, Cold“ – On some days you find yourself in such a cold environment that no matter how hard you try you just can’t get yourself warm. This is a song about one such day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lkcz18EW5Ew&list=PL3B2C81B27208BD0D&index=9
Song #2 “Give’m What They Want” – The lavish luxuries of life are just pacifiers that keep us from getting up and utilizing the energy that comes from the love within. Let us work towards feeding off this resource that gives us so much more than material possessions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7rHnfxyqEE&index=19&list=PL5294AD25E7CB1953
Song #3 “I Was Lazy” –When I was too lazy to do the work required to seek out a more fulfilling love than one that just fed on my worldly needs.
Song #4 “We’re So Civilized” – We may think that we’re so civilized, but there are many deficits that need to be addressed.
Song #5 “Until This Planet’s Green” – “We won’t let this planet die in the hands of greed… We will help you until this planet’s green.”
Song #6 “Do I Sing or Do I Die?” – At some point in every one’s life they are confronted with this question. It’s then that we have to choose if we’re going to find our voice and sing or shrivel up and die.
Song #7 “Back to Your Heart” – Occasionally, throughout our lives we may need to rediscover our voice and then get back to the core of who we are.

Songs about the universal love that is the foundation of a truly fulfilling life.
Song #1 “The Big Love“ – The Big Love is the love that the universe so bountifully offers to each of us. The love that will allow us to be more in tune with the “music of the spheres.”
Song #2 “Take Your Love to the Beach” – An encouraging song that invites us all to add our love to the ubiquitous sea of love that the universe thrives on.
Song #3 “No Big Words Here” – Sometimes keeping things simpler and sincere is best.
Song #4 “Give My Love To” – A shout out to the universe for some help to better understand my love and then how to share it.
Song #5 “Keep Your Eyes On It” – Keep your eyes on the love you want to become.
Song #6 “Subtleties of Love” – If we can come to know the true subtleties of love, then maybe love will come to know us.
Song #7 “Life’s the River, Love’s the Sea” – A song about the joyous moment when life and music just flow along in time.
Song #8 “Our Love Will Give Us Love” – This song ponders the question. Is it possible that as we give our love we are also creating a reserve of love that we can call upon in the future?

Songs about the inauguration of Donald Trump.
Song #1 “Words Can Say a Lot“ – A hopeful song at a time of great uncertainty.
Song #2 “Don’t Live in the Past” – A song about taking the time to evaluate what we’ve been holding onto from our past and determining if those things remain true to who we want to be today.
Song #3 “Makin’ Us All Look Nuts” – A song about when our leaders make us look nuts to people around the world.
Song #4 “You’ve Made Your Choice Now Own It” – Life is full of decisions and if we discover that we’ve made a mistake we just need to own it and work towards correcting it.
Song #5 “Have You Heard the Absurd” – A song that asks us all to decide how we will respond to politicians that make demagogic statements. It’s easy for us to look in hindsight and see some of the bad decisions that were made in the past, but now it’s our time.
Song #6 “Oh, America” – A song that simply asks us if we’ve forgotten about the many liberties that so many Americans have fought and died to protect.
Song #7 “Stand Up and Be Your Love” – This is a song that calls for a renewed effort by us to stand up and share our love. Perhaps, by doing so, we can bring about some changes to make this world a little better for everyone.

No real theme tonight, just good tunes, and a few songs for my dear friend Adam, who we lost 10 years ago Monday, way, way too soon.
Hey Peeps Some of you may or may not know my passion about getting our Rochester Christmas traditions back. The City Council has a proposal to bring our monorail back. We need to go down to city hall and voice our support that we want this back up and working.
I have proposed several locations , Sibley building, Charlotte Ferry Terminal, and maybe we should also advocate for a New Midtown Mall to be built at the New Inner Loop project. We also need to propose to find our lost Santa Claus mountain and bring back the clock. Put all three back in the same location.
Join me January 17th, at City Hall 30 Church Street, at 630 bring a sign or if you want to speak please call on Jan 17th before 530 to add your name to the list. If you cant be there then please write a letter. Lets bring it all back in time for next Christmas!!
